Coronavirus (COVID-19) affects Tarnovo Ultra 2020

Hello, friends of Tarnovo Ultra!

It took some time thinking what shall we write to you and then how shall we write it!

1. Tarnovo Ultra 2020 is postponed for unspecified date. Our idea is to hold the event in the first possible date when the situation with the corona virus COVID-19 is safe.

2. We know that many of you doesn’t want us to postpone the event but even if one can say there is a chance for the event on its original date maybe in two weeks the situation is even worse and we will still have to postpone the races. And then for many of you it would be more inconvenient to change the plans and cancel any reservations made.

3. The new date will be announced when we are secure with the corona virus situation! The date will be announced at least 1 (one) month before so that you have enough time to decide if you will participate or if you want to change the distance because you will train a lot now when there is nothing else to do JJJ.

4. Everybody who wants to get a 100% refund of the entry fee for Tarnovo Ultra 2020 can get it now. Of course this will also be possible after we announce the new date and you are not OK with it. If you are not sure we hope you choose the 2nd option since this way we may save some bank taxes.

Even though we postpone the event, we will behave seriously about our cause. No matter how many of you decide to get a 100% refund of the fees, already now we from Brown team will donate 20% of the already paid entry fees for the daughter of our long-serving member - Ivo Dontchev – Monica. This is 1524,20 BGN from the total collected for now 7621 BGN from entry fees for Tarnovo Ultra 2020.

5. All of you will receive automatic information from the entry-system what steps you shall take to get a 100% refund if you wish so!

Now we can only wish you great trainings and cross our fingers that we can meet at the finish arena of Tarnovo Ultra 2020 as soon as possible! Until then we call on being responsible with your health, the health of your close ones and all around you! Keep the distance!

Corporate Relay „Tarnovo Ultra”

Tarnovo Ultra Corporate Relay is a relay competition consisting of 4 runners from one company. The event is designed for all kind of bussines companies but of course it is open for everybody. The race will take place during Tarnovo Ultra 2020 and around the Finish arena in park Marno pole, in the centre of V. Tarnovo.

The Race

Distance

It is a 12 km race (in total) – 3km for each runner. Every runner has to run 4 laps of 750 metres or 3km in total.

Conditions of registrations

To make a registration, check 4 tickets and then fill in the data of every ot the four runners sequentially, according to their legs in the relay. In the space “Team”, please fill in the name of the Company* or Team, which you’ll represent.

*If you are registering several relays from one company or a team, please select numbers for the different relays, for example “Company 1”, “Company 2”.

The Cause – 50% of registration fee donation

Our newest event will have a cause! The daughter of our long-serving member - Ivo Dontchev - Monica is suffering form serious illness and we decided to help his family in the hard times. Our club decided to donate 50% of the registration fees from Corporate Relay Tarnovo Ultra 2020, as well as 20% of all registration fees from Tarnovo Ultra 2020 to our teammate.
